So with the passage of time, it became popular as Keralite Panchakarma. The therapies of Keralite Panchakarma are very beneficial in Anxiety, Stress, Migraine, Backache, Sciatica, Paralysis, Joint pains, Asthma, Sinusitis, Diabetes, Hypertension, Rejuvenation, Cervical spondylosis & Neurological disorders.     A help for healthy lifestyle: In the present most competitive and fast life style, society is facing tremendous physical and mental stress which is leading to various lifestyle and autoimmune disorders. Therapies of Keralite panchakarma immensely help into mental and physical relaxation and assist the immune system for its auto-correction. Enterprising north Indians because of fast pace of their life style invites a lot of stress and diseases, to en-cash this many commercial panchakarma centers are mushroomed and doing unethical and non classical practice of panchakarma therapies.   Premier Institute of Ayurveda, Dayanand Ayurvedic College & Hospital at Jalandhar is only centre which never compromised with ethics and quality. Abhyanga: Ayurvedic massage of the body with selected ayurvedic oil according to client's body type and illness. It enhances tissue strength, improves blood circulation, rejuvenates the whole body, beautifies the skin, promotes vitality, removes toxins, relieves stress, improves sleep & eye sight.
 

Navarakizhi: It is a special type of treatment in which heated packs of rice are boiled with decoction of herbs & milk, body is then massaged with these rice packs. It is an ideal treatment of neuromuscular disorders like Polio Myelitis, Muscular dystrophies, emaciation of limbs. Besides medical benefits, it's a wonderful relaxing and rejuvenating treatment.

Elakizhi: Process of massaging the body with cloth bag filled with finally chopped herb leaves and herbal powders warmed in medicated oil. It is done in case of osteoarthritis, Sciatica, Neurological disorders and has curative as well as rejuvenating effect.

Pizhichil: Warm medicated oil is squeezed over the patient's body from a piece of cloth that is periodically dipped in a vessel containing the oil. This treatment is very useful for Rheumatic diseases like arthritis, paralysis, muscle spasms, sexual weakness, ageing, general weakness, nervous disorders, degenerative diseases affecting the muscles.

Shirodhara: It is process of pouring medicated warm oil or herbal decoction continually over forehead for a specific period. It induces relaxation & rejuvenation of mental and physical state. It deeply revitalizes the central nervous system and is useful in anxiety, depression, hypertension, insomnia, memory loss, chronic headache & psychosomatic disorders.

Kati Vasti: It is a process of retention of warm ayurvedic oil on affected area on lumbosacral region. It is special treatment for chronic and acute lower backache, ankylosing spondylosis, lumbar Spondylitis, sciatica & prolapsed disc.

Janu Vasti: It is a process of retention of warm herbal oil over affected knee region. It is effective in osteoarthritis, tendon and ligament injuries, and sprain. It rejuvenates the joint and relieves pain.

Greeva Vasti: It is a process of retention of warm herbal oil over affected area on back of neck region. It is done in neck stiffness, cervical spondylosis, myelopathy, & disc prolapse.

Nasya: Administration of stipulated quantity of medicated oil/Herbal juice/powder to both nostrils after gentle facial and head massage and steam. It purifies and cure ailments of head, neck area, improves eyesight and effective in sinusitis, facial paralysis, migraine, chronic cold, coryza & mental disorders.

Akshi Tarpan: Ring prepared with fresh black gram flour is applied around the eyes and medicated ghee / oil is poured in the same ring for a certain period of time. This procedure is done with different herbal medications in certain eye diseases to improve eye sight and refractive errors.

Vaman: This is therapeutic vomiting and is indicated mainly in excess Kapha conditions. Therapeutic vomiting is best suited for Diabetes mellitus, Fat metabolism disorders, Overweight, Bronchial asthma, Bronchitis, Chronic Sinusitis, Hypothyroidism, Depression, Lack of appetite etc.

Virechan: This is Therapeutic purging and it removes excessive Pitta and Kapha dosha, which makes it an alternative for exhausting Vaman. Diseases that may be cured by Virechan are Chronic and acute inflammations, Allergies, Dermatitis, Psoriasis, Hemorrhoids, Stomach and duodenal ulcers, Hyperthyroidism, Chronic fever, Liver and spleen diseases, Eye diseases etc.

Vasti: Administration of liquids like medicated oils, herbal decoctions through anal canal after abhyanga & swedna. It has multiple effects and hence cannot be compared with contemporary enema. It is effective in neurological, musculo-skeletal disorders, digestive disorders, urogenital disorders etc.
